Practice App for iPod Touch

Post by b0b »

The iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone part. Most iPhone apps work on it. Some iPad apps work too.

I'm looking for an app to practice playing along to the songs in my iPod Touch. It should have, at a minimum, the ability to set looping points to play a passage over and over. Tempo control would be nice, too.

Anyone know of such an app?

I have a free app called Slow Notes that does this. You have to add songs from your library to the app, which takes a little time, but it works.

GarageBand should do what you want.

That would be nice, Brad, but it's not compatible with this old 2nd generation iPod Touch.

Marc, it seems that Slow Notes doesn't remember anything from one time to the next. :\
