File association - stupid question

Post by Richard Sinkler »

I can't seem to remember how to change the file associations. Like, if I have a file with an html extension, I want it to open in a browser window when I click on the file name. Somehow it got changed to open up in my html editor. How do I change it back?

Think RightClick on the file and choose the "open with..." option will get you going.

If you have Vista or Windows 7, click on Start then click "Default Programs". You can set up default programs and file associations.
