Bible Progrram won't work

Post by Lyle Bradford »

I bought a computer to take to church and use my Bible program and bought a usb cd unit to load it with and it won't load. It has loaded 2 other programs for me so it probably is not the player. It acts like it is loading and loads the icons etc but the program is not there. It loaded on all my other window 7 computers and works fine. Is there anything i am doing wrong with this one? All help is greatly aprreciated

Your PC probably needs to be running Stained Glass Windows.

Without knowing which particular program you're using, it's almost impossible to offer any suggestions on how to get it to work. The manufacturer of the program will probably have a tech support contact who can help you better than a bunch of steel guitarists. Good luck!

Lyle, If your running Win 7, the program may require XP or earlier. I had that problem with one of mine. If a new version is not available you just can't use it on the computer unless it's running XP. Check the website of the program and see if they have a Win 7 compatible version. Good Luck and God Bless, Whip.

Try going to the setup.exe file on the disk and right-click, then choose "run as administrator". That may possibly work.

Thanks everyone. I got it up and running. It is a program by Biblesoft and is PC Study bible 3.3 I finally got it to upload and then went to their websit and their help was what i needed to do. If it had not worked I would have to update I guess even tho I don't like the newest versions they have now. It is compatible with Win 7 but you have to run it as an earlier version under the compatiblity program.
