Videos Comparing my EPS15-C Speaker to my Steel King Speaker

Post by Roger Kelly »

There has been and still is, discussion about the EPS15-C Neo Speaker. Is it a good speaker? (Yes)
How much does it weigh? (7.8lbs) Does it sound as good as a Peavey BW or JBL? (I'll leave that up to you.)

What I found out by making a video with the Fender Steel King stock Speaker, (JBL Clone) and another video with the EPS15-C Neo Speaker installed in my Steel King was, that I couldn't tell any difference.
Some of you might be able to tell a difference. It sure has made it easier on my back with the EPS15-C.

This Video is with the Steel King Speaker.

This is not a Scientific comparison, but maybe it will answer some questions about whether you might want one or not?

Hi Roger. I can tell the differance fairly easily. Might have been a better comparison if you played the same tune on both> Just my thoughts> I sent you an email.

I can also hear a difference. I actually liked the stock speaker sound better.

You should do the videos over, playing the same song, and ask which sounds better without telling us first which speaker is used on which video. That would be interesting to see what the results are after that. You may get tainted results from people that own one of the speakers and choose that one simply for that reason.
