Well at least there is steel in the band. Unfortunately you dont here much of that anymore on today's country music stations so I'll take my steel where I can get it. I like this song. Should have been a longer steel ride.

Ralph Mooney, played steel and developed a style that made half of the waylon sound, the guitar was the other half, thats all you need. They could get a bass player and drummer anywhere and someone has to come along and recreate that sound for the next generation to fill. Its a Musical Glamour Shot It worked once, why not again? Put a pretty face on an old style.

Heh, I recently joined a Dutch country music band and we played that same song at some festival in the Netherlands a few months ago. Here's a video clip of it: http://www.musicroadpilots.com/

(Go to "Media" > "Videos" and it is the first one).

The sound is not very good since it was recorded with the mic from the camera but I understood that it was also multitracked so perhaps we can do a better remix later on.

killer... yes.. at least there is a steel player in the band and he got part of the solo...

loved the bouncy intro...

I've played a few Dierks Bently tunes over the past couple years and I generally like em... steel in almost all his tunes it seems.
