The Cowboy Rides Away...Brooks & Dunn

Post by Bill Miller »

This turned up my Youtube wanderings this evening. What a great version! It looks like Paul Franklin on steel, not sure, but I love the way the steel supports this rendition.

Sure sounds like Paul Franklin. And given the magnitude of the concert, it would make perfect sense that it would be PF on steel.

I have known Paul since he was 20; no doubt that this is Paul Jr.

There's a good shot of Paul at 3:16 including his Franklin red/blonde apron guitar....ever wonder how he determines what guitar(s) to use in what setting?
....and he alwyas sounds GREAT!! :D

Paul may have even cut the original on that steel.
