I don't know if this has been posted already, but look what I found among the vids on YouTube: Jim Loessberg playing the song "Release Me", at Carl's Corner, in Texas, December 2009. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNp6EPn6gyM
Jim, in the words of the late James Henry, your pickin' produced a crop of chill-bumps on my arms...
The backup singer's no slouch, either. I know, I know, blasphemy will NOT be tolerated on the Forum....

As long as I'm down in the mix I'm Fantastic!
Jim was, as always, quite impressive at the Phoenix show. As much as I love C6, I'm at a loss when I try to play it, so I got Jim's "A Dozen C6 Intros and Solos" there. I think it's going to really help me learn how to approach the "Two Weeks Notice" neck. A lot of information for only $25. Jim offers a cheerful money back guarantee on his instructional material but I won't be taking him up on it.
I really appreciate the nice words. That combination of hybrid Standel and Emmons wrap-around is hard to beat. I do prefer the Peavey on louder gigs.
The Car's corner clip sounds way pitchy to me. I do like the tone, though.
Peter, I really enjoyed seeing you at the show and hearing you play. I appreciate you taking a chance on the course material. I hope it proves beneficial. I try to make those like I wish I had when I was learning (still learning, BTW) to play steel.
Let me know if you find it helpful and ship it back if you don't!
