Apple G4 To Apple I Mac Data Transfer Most Efficiently?

What is the most efficient way to transfer data from my old Apple G4 computer to a new IMac? I'd like to copy much of the info that is on the old computer.

The IMac has a Thunderbolt connector which supposedly speeds up data transfer, but the G4 does not. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, stevet

Migration Assistant might be your best bet. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4413
