Gene Smith, Point Texas

Post by Bo Legg »

I got up this morning put on the coffee, checked my day planner and weather on my PC trying to muster up the courage to place the call I didn’t know if I could deal with or except. I knew it was going to be really bad news.
One of my best friends was terminally ill for a very long time but you would have never guessed by the way he lived.
There was no bucket list or living every day like he was dying. He simply just planned on being here tomorrow with the understanding if that was not to be then that is the price he had to pay for the privilege of enjoying the miracle of life for an unpredictable short period of time.
He passed away peacefully last night. I cried a lot. It helped a little.
Gene Smith a best friend that just happened to play PSG.

I too lost and old friend this week. It's hard losing the ones you have known and been close to for so long. My thoughts are with you in your time of loss. God Bless!
