Georgette and Jamie
I hope Nashville will listen to this cd and remember if "grits ain't groceries, then this ain't country"
This is a breath of fresh air for a change!!
All of this so called country music that's being played today is no more than "Kiss, Van Halen, AC-CD" and the reat of them with boots and hats.
Opps,! I might have stepped on someone's toes and called them country.
It will be named the "CRMA", COUNTRY ROCK MUSIC AWARDS. I rest my case.
Thanks for Georgette and Jamie.........

Georgette and Mr. Georgette (just funnin' Jamie) are an unbeatable combination. Two of the best and I would assume the nicest people around this business.
God I hope so. Hopefully with them in Nashville, we might have a chance. Trouble is, Nashville is usually blind to this kind of talent.WOW! Some real COUNTRY MUSIC for a change.
Maybe we have a chance of getting it back.

As they say in this neck of the woods, don't get no better than this.....and yes, they are indeed two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they identify with their fans.
If Georgette Jones is not in your country cd collection, your collection is incomplete.
Thanks Georgette, for kindly keeping it country!

Great music from two of the most gifted and nicest talents Nashville has to offer....I love the way Jamie's traditional stylings complimented Georgette's heartfelt vocal, and the way he embraced the lyrics with his fill placement is spot on. Georgette is certainly carrying the flag for traditional country music.....Its inspiring to hear them do their thing.....
Jamie and Georgette,
Well done!

Two days ago I purchased both of Georgette's albums. They are awesome! I remember seeing her on TruCountry one time and I don't know why I didn't rush out to buy her stuff then. She is an amazing singer. I can hear the influence of both Tammy and George in her voice, but she has her own style and uniqueness.
And, Jamie, your steel playing is pristine! I'm going to sit down today and try to learn "Don't Come Back Till You Love Me." There are some licks in there that I would love to add to my arsenal!
I can't decide which I like better, Georgette's angelic voice, or Jamie's steel playing. Fortunately I don't have to choose.

All of you have really made my day!! Thanks to each of you for taking time to listen to our music and it makes me feel good that there are people out there that like what we are doing. I love country music and it's a dream to be able to make a cd and to have Jamie play on it, too. Just wanted to say thanks !!!! Hope all of you have a great and very Happy New Year! And by the way.....in my opinion, yall are the back bone of country music! Steel guitar is my favorite instrument and having been given a couple lessons from Jamie.....I know how hard it is to learn and the dedication it takes to be good at what you do. Thanks, again!
Thanks
Georgette

Tammy Wynette was the first big Country star I ever shared a stage with. I was playing with Jesse James and the Country Outlaws and we opened for Tammy at the Stardust lounge in Waldorf Md.I believe it was in 1974.It was the first time I'd seen a big"hillbilly"bus. Sonny Curtis was playing steel , couple of the Gatlins were singing harmony and Bob Moore was subbing on bass.Charlie Justice was playing fiddle. I remember him telling me that he liked my playin but my tone kind of sucked . he was half kidding and actually spent a good bit of time talking with me. Tammy's show was incredible but what I remember most was how nice and encouraging she was . It was part of the inspiration that led me to Nashville.
Hearing Georgette sing reminded me of that night
happy new year!
