Thanks Tony! I'm using open B, which is like open D (DADF#AD) but at B, and then for this song, capo 2, so open C#.

Thanks Matt. It's sounds good. Have you tried Mike Auldridge's B tuning he used on one of his albums, high to low, D#,B,F#,D#,B,F# ? It sounds good too. Thanks for the you tubes. Post more.

I don't like having thirds in my low 3 strings. They scare me, too hard to play solo. Cool tuning though, might be great for accompaniment stuff.

I have a couple of other tunings I use for stuff. I'll take an open D and drop the F# to an E to have a 2 on the third string, which is cool. Also, GCDGBD, so when travis picking, you can have a 1 chord or a 4 chord on the open strings depending on if your thumb is hitting 6 and 4 for a one chord, or 1 6 and 5 for a four chord.
