Doyle Bramhall Sr. - RIP

Post by Bill Terry »

Austin lost another fixture this weekend. Doyle was a blues drummer/singer and a fixture in the SRV crowd. He wrote a couple of tunes ("Change It", Looking Out The Window") on some of the early SRV records. You may know Doyle Jr. from the Arc Angels and Eric Clapton.. This family is blues royalty for sure.

I was proud to call Doyle a friend, and my heartfelt condolences to wife Barbara and family. RIP my friend.
