Ben Flahr has been a friend of the steel guitar family and traveled thousands of miles to visit many of the steel shows and country concerts, because of his love for the steel guitar and country music.
I have known Ben for the past 6 years, he was a businessman related to the oil field industry, but his heart was very much in the music we play.
Ben was as healthy and active as any fit person you know but in July of this year they found he had a brain tumar. He died October 28,2011 and the funeral was today, Sat, November 5, 2011.
For my good friend Ben, please remember in your prayers, his wife Marcelle and their children and families. YOU WILL BE MISSED!! Your friend, Neil Degraw
