First live tv show - Stand by your man - Georgette Jones

Post by Jamie Lennon »

We just done the Late Late here in Ireland, its like Letterman, big deal here!

First time for me to do a live tv show.

Lost a bit if the audio quality in the youtube converstion.

Randle Currie gave me some great pointers for tone on t.v which worked a treat as the steel cut through

Enjoy !

The sound on the youtube link was very good. But then it is a Franklin 8)

Glad to see Georgette is carrying on the "torch".

Being in Ireland with a Jones reminds me of a story Jimmy Peppers has about George being booked there and the band was in Ireland for the jobs and Jimmy, who was the band manager, said he went looking for George and found out he was still in Nashville. This was in George's "no show" days. Jimmy said he knew George's show and he went to the promoter and told him the story and that he could either refund the money to the people or he would do the show. The promoter told him to do the show and the people loved it. They had another booking in Ireland on that tour and the promoter told Jimmy to do the same show at that booking.
