Yes, congratulations to Bobbe.

It doesn't sound in the video like he's using one of his special plastic/wooden tone bars like the one he sold me. Maybe, since it was back in 1993, he hadn't designed them at that stage.:)

Hi Alan, I think Bobbe is using a steel bar in this clip. I did not know he made plastic or wood bars.
I got mine from a sawed end of a broom stick many moons ago, sanded it down and polished it out. It does work great for a banjo sound effect. The next time I am at Bobbe's Steel guitar shop, I will have to buy a new one.

He sells them, plus an electronic device that he calls the BoBro, to make a pedal steel sound like a Dobro.

I bought one of those units. I have to say that mine doesn't sound like the one in the video, but neither does my steel guitar sound like the one in the video when the Bobro is switched off. :oops:
