For those who have never seen the "Country Reunion Shows" on RFD television, you are missing out. We are seeing something really special with Mike Johnson playing steel. Mike and his wife are just super friendly people who can play and she can sing. Too bad she is too country for Nashville. I would buy a ticket to hear her for sure and definitely to hear Mike play. Thanks Mike for blessing me with your playing abilities. You are a first class individual.

Here's another winner from Rhonda...this time singing harmony with Gene Watson. Nice steel part too.

Mike is a class act! I cant say how much i enjoy listening to him play. And I must say he is a fellow Alabamian. I am a huge fan of him and Joanie.
I am also blessed to call them my friends as well.

Woof Woof Woof... Man she is great. The undisputed QUEEN of bluegrass (IMHO). But I don't know who I like better, her or Mike.

I could bet my last dollar that pitch correction is used here. I also believe her eye lashes also are corrected. But I really like the steel playing, my favorite player.Tony Dingus wrote:The girl can sing and she doesn't need a vocal tuner either and Mike's playing is always great and with alot of feeling, fast or slow !
Tony
I know my playing is a bit pitchy, but at least my tone sucks
