Steel Guitarist, Elizabeth West's Father Passes
It is with great sadness that I am announcing the passing of the father of my friend and steel guitar mentor, Elizabeth West. Mr. Arjen Pellikaan, age 82, passed away in his care home in Surrey, B.C. of a previously undiagnosed bladder infection on Mon., May 2nd. A gravesite service took place today (Fri., May 6th). We all offer our support & prayers to Elizabeth and her husband, Ken (recently diagnosed with a heart ailment) that they overcome this unexpected passing of Elizabeth's father.
