"The Jewelry Lady" 3 years ago

Post by Larry Moore »

It don't seem like it has been 3 years today I lost the love of my life.
It will always be a sad day, when so many people are having fun things to do.
We were married 45 yrs
Love you Yvonne

Jewelry Lady

Post by Bill Napier »

Hi Larry,

Judy and I were remembering Yvonne Saturday, after I told her about Bill Stafford's announcement of the upcoming March 2011, Deep South Steel Guitar Show.
Judy was wondering if your daughter is still selling the jewelry, and if so, would she be in Gulfport.
Judy still wears, with the most fond memories, the jewelry she bought from Yvonne. One piece she especially treasures, the piece Yvonne, being the wonderful lady she was, and is in our memories, gave to Judy.
We miss Yvonne's presence at the shows, her vocals, her warm smiles, we too, miss her.
Our warmest regards, always.

Larry----you're truly one of the classiest gentlemen I've ever met, and I am proud to call you my friend.
And Yvonne deserved a guy like that.
God bless ya, Brother!

LARRY, both you and your wife have touched more lives in a positive way than you probably realize. I still have some fond memories of meeting the steel player who played C6 with his "Boo-Wah" pedal mounted on a knee lever. There were some really famous people on the show, such as Mel McDaniels and Leroy Van Dyke, but what brings back those warm fuzzy feelings are the memories of how the "local" people treated us. All of them opened their hearts to us as though we had been a part of their family for years. I was with the TED JONES entourage, and you were one of those wonderful people who treated us so graciously. I won't forget it. Thank you!

Larry, we have not visited with each other in quite a while, but reading your post does remind me of when I was able to see your lovely wife Yvonne at Saluda, she was a real gem. I wish you peace...

Wayne I too had a great time at that show in South Ga.
All of you players in the group were just like home folks to us.
I still have that Emmons, Love that Guitar.

Wish we could do it again some day.

Thank You for the nice and kind words and thoughts.

Tony It has been a long time. You need to come back over to Saluda SC.

We miss you Pal
