Late Christmas event, me on steel

Post by Uffe Edefuhr »

Here is a song from a day after Christmas consert, that should have been in a small church, the weather was not on our side, it was -20 degrees outside and the church was so cold inside that we had to play in the coffee shop outside the little church.
Anyway we had a nice gig. The song is When it's lamp lightning time in the valley.
I play on my GFI. S10, and nothing more than my PV-Nashville 112

Uffe, That was pretty! You get that "growl" in the GFI. When I get shivers down my spine, it's gotta be good!
I remember playing that tune in a band I played with in Norway many many years ago. Sure brought back the memories.

Hi Bent. Thanks,or should I say "Tack" for the answer?
It was bitter cold outside and the litte church was even more cold inside. The heating system was out of order I guess. So we played in the cafeé outside. It was a great little gig with around 100 persons to hear us.

Uffe, that was Just Beautiful. I don't know what else you could have used, soundwise, to make it better. I'm glad that you got to do your gig, although you had to move it. I'm sure that the people didn't mind at all.
Isn't it Great that you can take a beautiful song, and play, and sing it anywhere in the world, and in any language, and it is still beautiful.
Thanks so much for sharing, and I hope to hear more from you.

Hi Uffe, That was great. To me that was the "French Song"
recorded by Lucille Star many years ago. It was aways one of
my favorite songs. Now you've inspired me to learn to play
it as an instrumentle. Just have to find a track for it.
Hope to hear more from you.
