Forsyth County News - Arrangements for Kathy Sorrells

Kathy Ann Sorrells, 52, a McMinnville, Tenn., resident and Marietta native, was born Sept. 3, 1958, and passed away Dec. 26, 2010. She was employed by Mowtron Industries and was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church in Dawsonville.
She was the daughter of James Carl Ballew of Dahlonega and the late Joyce McElreath Ballew. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Chris Wolfson; father-in-law, Robert Sorrells; brother-in-law, Rudy Sorrells.
She was married to Randy Sorrells of McMinnville, Tenn. She is also survived by daughter, Crystal (Anthony) Salyers of Dahlonega; son, Janus (Amber) Sorrells of Cumming; five grandchildren; brother, James "Jake" Ballew of Dahlonega; sister, Lynn Killius of Dawsonville; mother-in-law, Martha Sorrells of Cumming; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tom and Connie Stradley of Dawsonville, Kathy and Tim Goutro, Darrell and Sheila Blanchard, Stan Sorrells, all of Cumming.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. (CST) in High's Chapel with the Rev. James T. Stradley officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Warren County, Tenn. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 3-9 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 30, from 8 a.m. until service at High's.
High Funeral Home in McMinville, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
