We've lost a good friend to the steel players in the recent death of "Big John" Voit.

There will be a memorial service for "Big John" Voit on November 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Finlayson, MN, with a celebration following the service at the community center. All musicians encouraged to bring there instruments for a jam session.

Thanks George for the notice. I remember going to his benefit a few months ago. A lot of steel players and friends there. So sorry to hear about his passing.
