I just received word from Ray Robinson's brother in-law that Ray passed away on on August 25th, 2010. He was a steel guitarist extraordaire and a Seattle Western Swing Society "Pioneer of Western Swing" Inductee(1993)
Ray had a stroke a number of years ago and I heard he had bypass surgery no too long ago. He has been in an assisted living home for a number of years.
