what version will work for country and gospel music for E9 and what can I except to pay.

The most basic version will work. The advanced versions will work better, due to extra features. It really depends what you want to do with the program.
I use it for backing tracks for practice AND performance and am using the base version with just a couple of added styles that I have purchased here on the forum.
The "Real" add ons are very nice if you want to get the most professional sounding results, and are well worth the money.
