Hey Everybody
My friend David Hartley & I Just Got Back from the Dallas Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree.
I met the very great and Talented Mike McGee
He very kindly allowed me to record him playing "The Lord's Prayer".
This man is very underestimated and with his permission I have posted the recording He did for me on Youtube.
I would love you folks to watch the video and maybe, comment on this one take recording.
Thanks to everyone we met in Dallas.

Hi, Mike ... that was indeed a beautiful piece. Excellent work.
Here's a quote from that linked post ...

It was a real job getting that copedent on there and everything working right. I only had the E9th pulls on pedals 4 through 7 for a few months, then removed them. They made for some really stiff pedal action, but it was fun to experiment with.
Again, that was very beautiful and a very nicely done rendition of The Lord's Prayer.

You have a very interesting copedent, Mike, and it sort of reminds me a bit of one I had on my MSA Classic XL (10 floor pedals & 10 knee levers). Here's my old MSA copedent below (and I hope it's readable and not too small):David Hartley wrote:Wow,No wonder I am having trouble working out your fantastic version of the Lords Prayer Mike. What a copedant you have there !!.. That must be a guitar not to be moved around a lot I reckon. It must weigh a ton? Does it stay in tune OK? Blimey, is this the most pedals and knee levers anyone has ever had? Phew..No wonder it took me 2 hours to try and work out 8 - 10 seconds. I was trying bar slants, two feet on pedals and all sorts..
For the other forumites, here is Mikes copedant..

Why am I not surprised at what a superb job Mike has done on "The Lord's Prayer". I've said many times to many others what a great player Mike is and so very underrated. And by the way, he is also a superb guitarist and bassist and what I am the most proud of is that he is mine and Barbara's friend and brother.
