Chuck..that's great.

Buddy Emmons and (I think) Phil Baugh on his pedal 6 string w/ the MSA changer. The changer ran via bicycle brake cables to a floor board w/ pedals.

I've always loved those uber-tight Fiddlin Frenchy arrangements. He's the James Brown of cajun country.

I guess I'm jaded, I got to see Frenchie play all those tunes with Randy Cornor playing guitar and Robby Springfield playing steel. These are the guys the did the album with Frenchie and even as good as Emmons and Baugh are they didn't do the songs justice like Robby and Randy. In fact it looked like Buddy had a little trouble with some of the twin parts or maybe he just didn't take the parts serious.

Serious or not that is some bodacious picking.....

Phil is one of the few I've seen with a pedal guitar. lol

I'm sure the others did a great job as well.

This sounds so much like Cody and the Airmen from their live album in '76. Some of Buddy's licks even sound like Bobby's from back then.
