Apple logic audio

Post by Richard Nelson »

Has anyone got, or using the new Logic programme ? I hear its great . The blurb looks good on it too. I have been using DP6 and to be honest I'm a bit fed up with it.The new developments from DP5 are difficult to get used to .

Richard, are you asking about Logic Pro 9? There's a pretty good Logic forum here:

http://www.logicprohelp.com

You have to register to post, but it's painless. There are quite a few Logic heavies on there.

I've been on Logic 8 for a few months now, and it's got some really great features, but also misses a few things I really liked about my Ensoniq Paris system. I think you have to spend a little time with any new DAW before you can really evaluate how well it works for you. I guess that's why there are so many out there...

Ive been using Logic on a mac for many years, since its very early E-Magic (pre Apple) days. I've got DP 4.2 but haven't used it. The last upgrade to Logic Pro 9 has some cool new features. I like the Pedalboard and Amp Designer. Version 8 has Guitar Amp Pro which is very good as well as a huge sample library. Tons of GarageBand sounds work well on Logic too.
