European Steel Guitar Forum

Post by basilh »

Not intended to encroach on others, but there is a new interactive Steel Guitar Forum in Europe, intended primarily to unite the European players under one roof (So to speak).
If you feel you can benefit from being a member, (it's free) ..then please join.

http://www.chanos-isgf.org/ESGForum/

See you there

Do they post in the two dozen-or-so languages in Europe ? If so, it might turn out more of a linguistics forum than a steel guitar forum...

English, BUT the forum navigational facilities and log on system is available in French, Dutch, German, Italian etc. Once you chose your home language your preferences are remembered and you always have that style, the posts are in English. Instructions in whatever..
Sad news about Wally Haynes.. I use to play his "Pedal Pushin" great player will be remembered with much affection..

Thanks Joey, I was hoping it would, we're using the top provider and our own server at uk2.net, based at London's Canary Wharf (Coincidently:- 1 Canada Square).. the centre of the new super high speed systems.
I've actually been with uk2.net since 2001.. never down once..

As from this evening Monday January 05, 2009 .. The NEW entry page for the forum (Its URL address) will be:-
http://chanos-isgf.org/ESGForum/

Please delete any bookmark you have and make this the default page.
Its been done to facilitate a different format on the board index page..
For those of you who are not totally 'au fait' with how.. Click the above link and when the window to the forum opens save it to your favourites.

Hoping this doesn't cause you too much inconvenience, it IS for your benefit of navigation..
