Doug Campbell Joins The NTSGA

NTSGA member Bobbe Seymour, owner of Steel Guitar-Nashville has
purchased a membership for Doug Campbell of Lincoln Nebraska into
the North Tennessee Steel Guitar Association. Doug played Steel
Guitar for many years in Oklahoma City on the old "Jude N' Jody" TV
Shows, then before that worked with the late Conway Twitty (Even
Before John Hughey).

Doug's health has took a turn for the worst as he battles stomach
Cancer. He now has only a short time left with us. Doug and I have
never met personally but we have talked by phone many times. I've
seen videos of his old TV appearances and I first noticed a
resemblance where he and I looked alike. My wife even noticed the
same thing. Several years ago I found out how to contact Doug to get
aquainted with him and over the years he and I have become close
friends, even if it is by phone. Please join me in welcoming Doug
Campbell as our newest member into the NTSGA.
