Slim Noven, of the husband-wife duo "Slim and Ginger" died Monday July 3rd of a stroke in York, Pa. They appeared as "Snap and Ginger" on the WWVA Jamboree in the early 1950s and were part of the North Carolina Ridgerunners, the house band at Sunset Park in Pa.
There were married for 60 years and performed on stage up until about two years ago when Slim's health began to decline.
