I'll be dragging my steel onto the stage and trying to keep up with Dale Watson

When: tomorrow, Sunday, March 5, 2000,

At : the Culver Saloon in Culver City, California
on Washington Blvd 1/4 mile west of 405 freeway.

Time: evening. I think there will be an opening act at 9:00 or so, then maybe a couple of sets by Dale & band.

I guess Ricky Davis wasn't man enough to fly out from Texas to work 2 sets in a sleazy little bar, so Dale called me from Europe last night and asked me. I don't know any of his material, but since when did a country musician let that matter? I did see the band once in Long Beach last year, so I know that it will be country.

Oh, dang it. How I would love to be there. Unfortunatly, my day gig doesn't let me stay up that late. I'll probably be zzzing before you guys even start. Dang it.

I went and heard Ernest play last night. You guys missed a great show. Far too much talent in one steel player. It ain't right!
