Anyone know who played the steel behind him? You can't see the steel player but you can hear him.

This video appears to be from the Porter Waggner show. It was probably Porters steel player. I had always heard that Charlie Walker used Ray Price's band on his recordings. He probably had his own road band later.

Sounds like non pedal to me. Probably Don Wardon, pretty tone.

Yes, you guys are correct; the steel player is Don Warden. One of the good ole boys whom played good country steel guitar of yester-year. I loved Porter's Show. May he rest in peace..Bernie :D :roll: :whoa:
