Gary is just incredible. It is humanly impossible to pick and palm block that fast but Gary pulls off the impossible.
Has he ever played at the ISGC? If not, he should.
I don't know about the legs though....

How cum he looks like he's playing in F, but sounds like he's playing in Bb?
Anywho, sounds like it would be pretty good even without the Chipmonks running the video.

Must be his special set up or his shaved knees...
wonder if he's wearing boxers or briefs

Great job Gary Gimble. I always enjoy your stuff. Dave D. The first A section begins at the "F" fret with the 9th string as the tonic. Gary's version reminds of Jernigan's version from the "Hillbilly Jazz" record with Vassar Clements. I had a version once that began on the tenth fret and the melody, pentonic as it is, came easily. A few years later Doug J. tabbed the whole head on a peice of paper while chatted with him at an event at the Longnhorn in Charleston. I felt obliged to buy a theory book of his. It wasn't the best but he his willingness to share some of his info at the drop of ahat impressed me.
