My favorite one off this show was Shennendoa. Tears filled my eyes when he played it. The emotion he puts into his music is moving. I guess thats why they
call him the Big E. I do thank you Buddy for allowing
me to video your set. I wish I could have done a better job. But we have these moments to treasure for ever. I've been invited to do the show next year. I hope to see you there again.

Bill,

Thank you for posting this and thanks to Buddy for giving permission for it to be seen. Buddy is still THE KING, for me. I can only echo what earlier postings have stated about his superb feel. I had the job of making an announcement on the mic at my Festival in 1985, after Buddy had played a beautiful Danny Boy - of course, I blew it!

Great to see my long lost friend Erl on guitar and Ric on bass! I really hope to see you both again before too long.

Just another reason why I am a big Buddy Emmons fan. I could sit and listen to him play for hours.

Beautiful Buddy as always. It looked to me like he was a little unhappy with his amp settings. ...al.:)

Al, I don't think Buddy was unhappy with his settings. He was just tweaking for this particular song.

The Big E's still the king! It don't matter what he plays, as long as he plays. Of course, he just happened to be playing my favorite.

Can anyone tell me what Buddy is running for amplification? it looks like he has a small rack system by his side and a Peavy Nashville 112 behind him. What great tone he has!

He was using two NV112s. He let me video his complete set. I will treasure it forever. I wanted to release it but he said there were to many mistakes. There were a few but not that many. It only shows he's human like the rest of us.

I think he had a Revelation preamp and a FX processor in the rack..
