I'm surprised that my pet peave hasn't surfaced yet... the sound-man-who-never-miced-a-steel-before. I give a level, backing the vocals, using my woderful Hilton pedal... he thinks it's not loud enough, and cranks the sound reinforcemnet... I take a lead... he's askin' me to turn down... as much as I like reinforcement I'll just run my session 500, unmiced in a moderate sized venue, and stick my wife in the middle of the room.
