To all musicians: Since I started this thread, their is one other thing I have always wanted to let off a little steam about. I'm sure it's been done before, but here it goes again. I'm not a pro., but this is for all of you that are. It's always upset me about the way the members of bands are treated in reguards yo camara exposure nad roconition on all the TV shows. Do these producers and camara people not know where the music comes from.
To all musicians: Being the one who started this thread, there is one other thing I would like I'd let to let off a little steam about. I'm not a pro., but this is for those of you who are. It's always gripped me about how little exposure and reconition you people get on the TV shows and the award shows. Where do these producers and camara men think the music comes from. All we get to see is a "head shot" of the singer and maybe a glimpse of the band every now and then. If these multi million dollar singers and procucers think all the entertainment is in the singer, let them sing on TV or to a packed arena with no band and see how long people will listen. I'm familiar with a lot of the players who have built the Nashvill sound but the general public does'nt have a clue. The farms, factorys, schools, and churches of this country are filled with people who can sing as well as anyone who has ever been call entertainer of the year. Musicians who can play on the level it takes to back these singers are few in comparison. Also ther are a lot of us amatures who would like to get a look at the players and their gear and know who they are. When they name the Musician of The Year on the award shows, it's usuallu a small anouncement between commercials and they don't even let the person preform. I could go on and on but I'll close with saying that I think the way you people are treated 'SUCKS'. Eddie Malray
