What ever happened to this great event that never took place??????
Some heavy wieghts in N'Ville told me it would never happen and I guess they were right.

The last mention I remember is at http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum4/HTML/002738.html
I think is was deemed redundant because of the NTSGA events.

What don't you understand about this Jeff? The Steel guitar Club has had many many events since this was posted with thousands of attendees. If you are wondering about the "Texas part", many Texas players have been here and played, Jr. Knight, John Fabian, and many more, I personally am no longer a member of this great club as I'm deeply involved with flying "Young Eagles" for the Expermental Aircraft Association which meets at the same time the NTSGA Steel club Does. I feel that young people need to be introduced to aviation more than I need to be heard playing steel.
Jeff, thank you for asking though, I hear nice things quite often about you and your playing exploits. (our friend Steve Stallings , etc.)Best wishes,

Thanks for the replies. I guess I misunderstood what was to take place. I thought this was a big steel guitar convention type deal. There I go thinking again. Sorry I missed it. Guess I don't get out enough.
Our band is so busy playing, I don't get on here as often as I used to.
Thaks again
