European Steeldays 2002

Post by Roland van Beveren »

Hi y'all out there.
Just came back from European Steeldays 2002.
Heard Jim Cohen play... even more tasty than two years ago. Joe Wright, unbelievable. Dan Tyack, amen! Johan, you did a great job again. Keep that flag waving brother!

I will have a recovertime from Steeldays this week Image
Yes it was great!
At the broadcast through steelradio.com, we had 70.000 people at one time (The maximum we could messure, probably there were a lot more...) that were with us through the internet, unbelievable!
The crowd was great, the house was packed!
For all european players that decided to stay home from this event that only is once in a while and a lifetime chance...
Eat your heart out!!! Probably you will be hungry in October 2004!
Thank you all!!!!
Johan

Here is a pic of my friend, Heiko Aehle of Bretleben, Germany playing at the European Steel Days 2002.
I wish I could have been there.

Heiko played a great set. His Bud had the greatest tone that day and got me my only goose-bumps. There is some magic in those Sho-Buds.

A great convention, a perfect service and a lot of fun. The second link is a picture from the Band Cash on Delivery COD, with an outstanding steel player Johan Jansen.
