Mooney/Waylon question
Just out of curiosity - I was listening to Waylon's "Honky Tonk Heroes" album at the weekend, and I'd forgotten just how much dobro there is on it. All Music Guide doesn't mention dobro in the credits, but does specify Ralph Mooney as the steel player. Would that be him playing the dobro as well? I'm sure someone out there knows!

As far as Im aware of(& I believe I did ask Hoss that question once while working for him), it was indeed "Moon" on the ol'Hounddog guitar...& I dont mind telling you that trying to pull off the solos on that song as well as "Just Because You Asked Me To" using a psg with a MatchBro & an A-B switch box aint no easy feat
