Make sure you turn your volume up!!!!!!

Jerry called me today, and we talked for almost 2hrs about music, and he is a world of knowledge, and knows more about country music than I will ever know.

Please what ever you do????? Don't miss his show in St.Louis this year, it promises to be fantastic. I PROMISE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Everything you said is true. He's truly a pro, no doubt about it. He has a style like no one else, and can pick faster and accurately than anyone I know!!!!

I don't know if I'll be able to make it, because I can't even drive (hehe), but I sure hope I can. If I make it there, I hope to see Jerry play. He's been a hidden talent for years, and he's such a great player, and not to mention all his recordings and history. I know that once people hear him at St. Louis, he'll be the talk of the town!

Jerry did a featured spot on our show here in Ohio last year, and picked Rocky Top so fast it made our head spin. His buddy, Mike Sigler,(a fine steeler himself) was in the balcony during rehearsal, doing a sound check before the show started and told Jerry that if he picked that song that fast again, he was going to jump. Ha ha. My husband was doing all he could to keep up on his tele- and the next day, he called Jerry, trying to redeem himself, and said, "I went home and woodsheded and worked something out for Rocky Top for the next time you come down". Jerry smugly replied, " I don't DO Rocky Top anymore!" He is a great person. His website is really cool too. Super picker, super guy- 'nuff said.

I too had the pleasure of speaking with Jerry a few weeks back and I would certainly agree that he is more than just a great player, but a great knowledge of music and the steel as well. I look forward to meeting him this weekend.

Hello Red, Tony, and all...

I'm looking forward to meeting all the folks I've met by email in St. Louis. Please don't be shy about coming up and introducing
yourself...
