CORKY (what a player)

I had the chance to meet corky on friday nite at the Gene Watson -Holly Dunn show, for those of you that have not heard this fellow play... Well your in for a real treat.
Gene should be proud to have such a player on board with his show..
Not to mention what a nice guy he is!!
Corky thanks again for the use of the amp, i look forward to working with you again soon!

Hi Mike - I had the delightful opportunity to hear Corky with Gene Watson in Ripley, WV a couple weeks back. You are absolutely correct - what a player he is. We were sitting a couple rows back and I was wearing my Carter cap. He spotted it right off and we had a nice visit after the show.

Dana tells me your new gig with Holly is going fine. Glad to hear it. Hope to catch you at the Barlow Fair.

Hey Guys, I'll third that. Got to see Corky the first of the month in Clear Spring Md. He done a great job and we talked before, between and after shows and he is really a great guy. He even offered to let me try his new carter but I wasn't about to make a FOOL of myself in front of him. Gene needs to give him a raise LOL Corky, when your around here again, you can bet I'll be there to hear you.

Thanks guy's. It means a lot to read nice things that people say about you and to know you've made new friends. I can say the same things about Mike. If you want to hear a player with a left hand technique that is really nice,good tone and a really nice guy, go see Mike. I liked his playing so much, I watched the whole show. I really enjoyed his playing.Corky.
