Attachment font size

When sending an attachment, sometimes someone will complain that they can't read the attachment because the font is too large. I tried the windows version of sending the file to recipient and adjusting the font to small but an email window never opens.

Is there a manual way to adjust the font of an attachment after it is attached?

What e-mail program are you using? Outlook Express has a setup for the font size.

I was using Outlook Express. Does the font size in outlook also adjust the font size in the attachment?

If you are just forwarding a message or the attachment to a message you received, the font will not change.

If you are creating an attachment, then the font and size should be whatever size you used.

Only possible thing I can think of is if you are switching between HTML and Plain Text for e-mail messages.

No, the font size in Outlook Express will not change the font size in an attachment. For example, if your attachment is a Microsoft Word file, changing font size it Outlook Express will not change the font size in the Microsoft Word attachment.

John;
You may want to consider copying and pasting the contents of the attachments into email message bodies, and setting the font size to your normal choice. It will be adjustable by the recipient just as the rest of the text is.

If the attached file is formatted text use the rich Text Format option in OE. You can apply font styles as needed and send it as HTML.
