Need help attaching steel pics to email ?
Just started using camera with computer. Have pics transferred onto computer from camera but don't know how to send emails with the pics attached. Any help would be appreciated. Have several Psg's for sale but not being able to get pics in with email messages is slowing down the sales process. Thanks.

What email program are you using? If you're using Outlook Express, go to the menu item Insert. The first listing in the submenu will be File Attachment.... Click on that and a dialog box called Insert Attachment will open to "My Documents" by default. Select a file there or navigated to another folder, select a file and click Attach. That should get you pointed in the right direction for Outlook Express.

Billy, you can right click on the pic and a box opens. Put your cursor on "send to" and left click "mail recipient". If a box comes up saying "make picture smaller" click yes and fill in e-mail address that you're sending it to. I have windows xp. Hope this helps. Ray

The simplest way is as follows:
With Outlook Express, just click in the paper clip at the top of the screen then when a dialog box appears, simply go to your picture files and click on the file you want to send.

Using Roy's method...simply keep clicking the paper clip button for each file you want to send. Good luck

Billy, you have to be careful and make sure your pictures are not to big of a file size to send several. I usually make sure mine are about 50kb.
Hit create mail in Outlook Express
Left click "insert"
Left click "file attachment"
Find your pic file
Left click "attach"
Repeat process from "insert" for each pic. When you have several pics loaded, click "send".
Hope this makes sense! Ray

Well, the specific keystrokes and menu selections to use to do this will depend on the specific application being used (which is why Sonbone asked).
But, assuming we're dealing with the Windows OS, it's possible to select multiple files, in pretty much any context, by left-clicking once on the first file in the list, then, holding Shift and left-clicking once on the last file in the list. They will all be highlighted. Then click "open" or whatever the action button says.
If the files are not in consecutive order, left-click each one to be selected while holding the Ctrl key down. Each will be added to the highlighted others.

Billy;
You should be aware that some ISPs filter out email attachments that are not zipfiles. I don't know if yours does, but it's worth a phone call to them to find out.
