Migrating email data from Outlook to Outlook

My bride has a new computer. I need to migrate email info (messages, connections and contacts) from the old to the new, using Outlook 2003 on both systems. Can I just copy the Application Data files from old to new, or is there more to it? A search of Microsoft's Knowledge Base turns up several how-to articles for going from Outlook Express to Outlook, but I find nothing about simply moving data from one Outlook installation to another.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Basically, export your pst file and transfer it to your new computer. Then import it into your new outlook program.

Got the job done using a combination of copying application data files and export/import.
