Where's my address bar gone??

Post by richard burton »

For some reason, the address bar has gone from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
I've been to 'view', and everything is ticked.
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance,

I believe you're in the "full screen" mode which hides the address bar. Press "F11" for several seconds and it should reappear.

I guess your talking about your Internet Explorer browser.
Right click on the menu bar. Then click address bar.

You know what happens to me sometimes? The whole bottom, system tray, quick launch, etc moves to the side of my screen. It usually takes me half an hour to get it back... goes to the top, then left side then back to the bottom. I still don't know how it happens or how I fix it.

Erik, you are most likely dragging it there with your mouse.

Erik, once you have the taskbar where you want it, Right click on a blank spot on the taskbar and click "Lock the Taskbar". That will stop the problem.

Thanks Everyone.
I've got it back by dragging and dropping.
I must have moved it accidentally.
I've locked it now, as per Jon's suggestion.
