Need a CPU

Post by David Decker »

Looking for a used CPU. Wanting an AMD socket A, Duron or Athlon. Somewhere from 1 Ghz to 2 Ghz. Anyone got to get rid of?

I've traded with these people locally and have had good results. There's actually a lot of little stores here in Austin like this, maybe not so much where you are located? Happy hunting!

How about eBay? Some people worry a lot about getting burned on eBay but I never have yet. You just need to be careful who you're dealing with. Look for eBay sellers who have a feedback rating of at least 99% and a good number of eBay transactions under their belt. It only makes sense...if someone is selling through eBay on a regular basis they will be protective of their reputation and not want to jeopardize it by risking negative feedback. Only deal with top notch sellers and you shouldn't have a problem.
