Storing Photos

Post by Leon Roberts »

I have recently become a subscriber to Comcast high speed cable. They claimed to have a feature to store photos, but you must give them a credit card number to set up your photo account. My thinking is, Comcast already has my credit card number and what the heck.

Can anyone suggest a site that one could store photos to post on the forum? Lori did an excellent job in the past, but that service is no longer available through the forum. Any suggestions of a site to store photos to post on the forum?

You get 25MB of space with Comcast. Go to www.comcast.net/home.html and click on Online Storage or Personal Web Pages. They have some online help that will get you going.

I see that Comcast does have a photo deal, brought to you by Snapfish, which seems to be separate company, which is probably why they want your credit card #. You could use them, or just use your Comcast space.

Comcast space is free with your account, and they walk you thru the steps to get going, but Snapfish is in the photo processing business. Do a Google search on them and see what others say about them before you sign up.
[This message was edited by Cal Sharp on 01 December 2004 at 06:43 PM.]
