Mac Equivalent of Power Tracks Pro?
I've been using PG Music's Power Tracks Pro on my PC for years. Now that I'm starting to use a Mac laptop for some of my music, I'd like to find an equivalent program that runs under OS X.
PT Pro sells for under $100. I use it mostly for editing the MIDI files that are generated by BIAB. I need event-level editing, and I like to randomize velocities and stuff like that to give tracks less of a mechanical feel.
What is available for the Mac that does that sort of thing?

Sierra Laptop 8 (E6add9), Fender Stringmaster (E13, C6, A6)</font>

Digital Performer has been the midi powerhouse for Mac for years. It incorporates the latest in audio and very in-depth midi to a serious degree.

I've looked through the pages in the Apple catalog, Howard, but unfortunately they don't post the prices or other relevant info there. So I'm still searching. The sagantech.biz site is where I found Metro.
The XX program doesn't appear to be written for OS X. That's a continuing problem on the Mac - I don't want to be switching into the obsolete OS 9 mode just to run certain programs. I only buy OS X programs.

I believe I use exactly what you're looking for, b0b.easybeat 2.1
Native OSX, under $100, etc. http://www.macility.com/products/easybeat/
It runs efortlessly on my Powerbook.
I'm quite happy with it.
Sells for $89. Try the free download.
It doesn't print more than a few bars until you register it.
The only problem I had was opening *.mid files.
Rename the them to *.midi and you'll save all the time I spent troubleshooting.
