How to make a Win2000 startup disk?
My computer balked tonite at startup and demanded I put in a boot disk to start it up! Fortunately, I somehow managed to trick it into starting anyway, and it seems ok now, but I don't want to press my luck. Can someone tell me how to burn a startup disk for Win2000? There must be a function on the 'puter somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
Thx,
jc

Jim you might want to check out http://www.bootdisk.com for more info on bootdisks for Win2K as well as all other flavors of windows. Also, there is info for making bootable CDs for computers without floppy drives.

Have a look at http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/ntboot/.
Also check out BartPE (preinstalled environment) at http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ for working on Win2K systems that wont start up properly.
