I live in a co-op. Yesterday I sent a letter to someone in the building (perfectly trust-worthy person, co-op business, an aol address) with the word "coop" in the subject line. Today I received one of those spams with seemingly random words in the title--filter breakers, I presume--and one of the words was "coop".
WTF? Seems way too coincidental to be coincidental. So where was the vulnerability? Where did this word get picked up?
BTW--I am on a dial-up service with no building network or anything like that.
Is this odd or is this quite common?
