Hi Buck,
Try control/alt/delete, then you'll see your mail server isn't responding. Click end task, and that should get you out of it. If not, you may want to call the help desk for your ISP. Mindspring "unclogged" some mail for Tommy once.
Hi to Mitzi!!!!!

What email program are you using? In MS Outlook you can just go to the Outbox folder and delete it from there. You may have to go to Views-Folder List to see it.

Call your Internet Provider.
They should be able to delete it.

I want to thank everyone for your suggestions and help . Joey came up with the solution that got it fixed. I called the ISP and got a tech on it and he got the file deleted. The file was 659MB . That was a dumb thing for me to try to send that. So I plead IGNORANCE, and I'm stickin to it . Excuse me, Mr. Grantham - I believe on 10/01 at 6:03 p.m., I suggested calling your ISP for help. Joey's advice came on 10/02 at 12:03. I realize you think you have me hooked as a fan for life . . . but don't be sooooooooo sure of yourself. Image By the way, what were you trying to send, the movie "Gone with the Wind"? your fan forever,
donna

Seriously, that REALLY DOES happen in our society. It doesn't bother me, actually. My greatest life-influences were my Dad and Tommy. I don't care if you guys get the credit. Just don't kick me off the Forum. I appreciate you guys letting me participate. It's great fun!

Gee Donna, I can't start a fight, but it's not for the lack of trying.

Your posts are great. You make this a better place.

I'd better be careful not to get kicked off for throwing rocks. Image

I'm tired of being a doormat - It's either 70/30 or I QUIT! Don't know what I'll quit, but I'll think of something. Don't make me do it, Joey Ace!!! You'll be sorry. Image
[This message was edited by Donna Dodd on 04 October 2003 at 06:49 PM.]
